The affordable rents at Lake Pointe were made possible using the Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit, administered by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.

Multiple stakeholders collaborated to clean up the site, which was a contaminated brownfield before the project. The City of Hart, Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Kieser & Associates, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency represent some of the organizations who made the cleanup successful.

Designed and built under the rigorous Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, administered by the U.S. Green Building Council, Lake Pointe is one of the most efficient, healthy, and sustainable multifamily buildings in the State of Michigan. More info >
